The Western Star 57X was released for SCS Software’s American Truck Simulator, which arrived with a unique “Rising Phoenix” paint scheme.

American Truck Simulator players can now enjoy an all-new truck, thanks to the association with Oregon-based truck manufacturer Western Star.

The partnership sees Western Star 57X joining the sim and is available for purchase now from any of the Western Star Trucks’ in-game dealerships.

Notably, the 57X received a joint release in American Truck Simulator (ATS) and the real world, with Western Star Daimler Truck North America’s parent company aiming to build awareness of its new model. The 57X features a 5.8% increase in fuel efficiency over the outgoing 5700XE, a major advantage given the current fuel price crunch.

“The 57X is engineered, designed and engineered specifically for owner-operators and small fleets looking for a truck that delivers the safety, efficiency, durability and prestige that only Western Star can offer,” said David Carson, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Daimler Truck North America.

On the ATS, the 57X comes with a range of configurable layouts and options; Including a choice of day cabins or 72 sleepers cabs; Three short chassis options, two long ones, and five interiors. There is also a special “Phoenix Rising” paint unique to the new 57X truck and trailer of your choice.
