Samsung released its new Samsung Galaxy S22 series of phones earlier this year, and according to our brother site TechRadar, the premium model in that series – the Galaxy S22 Ultra – is the best Android phone of 2022. If you have at least AU$1,249 To spare it and it doesn’t play well with iPhones, chances are you’ll look at the Galaxy S22 range as your next phone. If so, Telstra has a generous deal starting tomorrow.
Starting Thursday, August 4 at 1 a.m. and over 23 hours, any Samsung Galaxy S22 series phone purchased from the Telstra Store will have the Xbox Series S set. Not only that, but it’s a free Xbox All Access bundle, which Comes with the console plus 24 months of Game Pass Ultimate. In other words, spend at least A$1,249 on a new phone and get A$792 worth of great games for free.
The deal is part of Telstra Day, which is less than a day to pay homage to Telstra, and more than a day to get discounts on a bunch of tech stuff. This applies to direct or planned purchases of Galaxy S22 models.
Note that your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will run after the 24-month ‘free’ period that comes with Xbox All Access – after which, it will cost A$15.95 a month. Of course, you can only cancel it if you don’t want to continue.
