Apple won’t repair 8 more Macs after adding them to their old list

Apple has added eight new Macs to its ongoing legacy list, with devices originally released in 2015 and 2016 joining the group.

Apple adds products to its old list once it’s been five years since the company last sold them. As a result, it also means that Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers are unlikely to service them, although there may be rare circumstances where replacement parts are still available and repair is possible.
